Studia Moralia, is the scientific journal of the Alphonsian Academy, a Graduate Institute of Moral Theology incorporated into the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Lateran University. The Academy is a real and genuine institute of moral theology, the first of its kind in the whole history of the Church. Inspired by the teaching of St. Alphonsus de Liguori, its purpose is to study in depth all the problems of the moral life according to the demands of the modern world and in the light of the teachings of the Church magisterium.
A bi-annual publication, Studia Moralia contains articles written in various languages: Italian, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. It offers a real and in-depth interpretative key to everyone who wants to face the inevitable change that permeates all aspects of life in the Church and world. The journal gives a broad and clear vision of the modern world and a moral evaluation of it. Adequate information must be sought in all spheres of knowledge, especially in the field of moral theology as elaborated by the Alphonsian Academy.
